Kashmiri Kahwa Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups water
5 tbsps Lizza Green Tea leaves
1/4 tsp Saffron strands
1 small piece Cinnamon
2 Cardamoms, slightly crushed
2 Cloves
10 Rose Petals
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup finely chopped Almonds
Instructions:
In a small bowl, soak the saffron strands in 1 tbsp of warm water and keep aside.
In a stainless steel pan, boil 3 cups of water with cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and sugar for 3 to 4 minutes on medium flame.
Lower the flame and add the green tea leaves. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain the tea in a deep bowl and transfer it back to the saucepan.
Add the saffron water, rose petals, and almonds and cook on low flame for 1 minute, stirring continuously.
Serve hot with more saffron strands if desired.
Note: For best results, use Lizza Green Tea for an authentic taste.
